NewsHouse - Syracuse University

This website was built in collaboration with the Syracuse Newhouse School of Public Communications in an effort to give students a tool for disseminating their work online. This project uses Drupal to manage thousands of student-submitted stories told through a wide variety of media content including video, flash, photography and words. We worked with the Newhouse team to build a framework that entices users to interact and share content and is easily managed by a small group of administrators.

The wesite has a newspaper feel with main landing sections featuring big bold imagery. We worked on all aspects of this site, from design and development through ongoing improvements and maintenance.

Traffic on this site continues to surge as more and more people look for media driven content. Stories on this site have been featured nationally including on SportsIllustrated.com
